Role Overview
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for:
- Defining target markets and niches
- Improving lead generation performance
- Aligning SEO, content, outreach, and branding efforts
- Creating a clear market positioning for the company
The Marketing Strategy Lead will guide the existing marketing team and ensure their work delivers measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Positioning & Niche Strategy
- Identify high-potential industries and target markets (U.S., UK, etc.).
- Define service positioning and value propositions.
- Recommend service packaging and specialized offerings.
2. Lead Generation Strategy
- Improve performance of:
- Email outreach campaigns
- LinkedIn prospecting
- Website lead generation
- Content marketing
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to align marketing with sales goals.
3. SEO & Website Strategy
- Define SEO strategy focused on lead generation, not just traffic.
- Identify high-conversion keywords and content opportunities.
- Optimize website messaging, landing pages, and CTAs.
4. Content & Authority Building
- Plan case studies, industry pages, and solution pages.
- Suggest LinkedIn content and thought leadership strategy.
- Support webinar or lead magnet planning.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Weekly/Monthly reporting:
- Website traffic and lead sources
- Conversion rates
- Campaign performance
- Cost per lead (if applicable)
- Improvement recommendations
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in digital marketing strategy (agency experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of:
- B2B lead generation
- SEO for service companies
- Email and LinkedIn outreach strategy
- U.S. and international markets
- Experience working with CRM and analytics tools.
- Ability to guide execution teams and improve performance.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
