Urgent Job Opening For Embedded C/C++ Developer with FOTA Experience
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded C/C++ Developer with 2-4 years of experience, specializing in Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) updates. In this role, you will contribute to the development of embedded systems software and play a key part in implementing over-the-air firmware updates for our cutting-edge devices.
Responsibilities:
- Embedded Software Development: Contribute to the design, coding, testing, and maintenance of embedded software solutions.
- Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) Implementation: Assist in the implementation of FOTA updates, ensuring a smooth and secure process for remotely updating device firmware.
- System Integration: Collaborate with team members to integrate and test software components within embedded systems.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software issues, bugs, and participate in debugging activities.
- Code Optimization: Work on optimizing code for performance, memory usage, and power efficiency in resource-constrained embedded environments.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for software design, implementation, and testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality embedded solutions.
- Security Awareness: Learn and apply security best practices to ensure the integrity and security of over-the-air updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development using C and C++.
- Familiarity with embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems.
- Exposure to Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) update processes is a strong plus.
- Basic understanding of communication protocols, such as MQTT, CoAP, or HTTP.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Good communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Exposure to microcontroller/microprocessor architectures is a plus.
- Interest in learning and applying security measures in embedded systems.
- Tinker Board experience is a plus but not required.
